We work side-by-side with companies to prepare tailor-made corporate language courses at your place of business. Our experienced teachers design high-impact language training programmes targeting your specific needs and deliver them around your schedule.

Whether small groups or on a one-to-one basis, classes are practical and interactive and will help us meet your needs and help you learn faster.

The way we work:

Needs Analysis: The Language Academy carries out diagnostic tests to identify your learning strengths and assesses areas for improvement in your grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening and speaking. We also identify individual learning preferences. The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages is used as a reference (to learn more about CEFR visit www.coe.int, specifically the structured overview of all CEFR scales).
The Learning Contract: The diagnostic results are discussed in view of the general aims of the company needs. Groups are organized according to learning needs and timing preferences. Learning objectives are set within a timed framework.
Development: Classes are interactive and use a communicative approach. Regular informal assessment is carried out to test your progress. Our teachers advise you on the best course of study and materials for you and how you can practice your language skills outside class time to ensure development.
Quality Control: In case your objectives are not being reached, your learning contract will be discussed and then reviewed by you, the company director and by our team to ensure success.
Achievement: After having successfully accomplished your goal at the Language Academy, our team will recommend and guide you on how you can continuously develop your language learning.

Languages Available:

We currently offer various specialized courses in English as well as Portuguese as a Foreign Language.

Types of Courses:

Short intensive courses or longer duration courses are available. We offer General Language Courses, Business English, Legal English and English for Health Professionals.

Place of Study:

Classes can take place at your company or at our teaching premises.
